During his specialisation, Dr Ergin focused on advanced root canal treatments and conducted research on the impact of laser-assisted root canal shaping on dentinal microcrack formation. His thesis on this subject contributed to the growing body of research in endodontics. He has presented his findings at several national and international scientific congresses, including the 18th Biennial ESE Congress in Brussels and symposiums organised by the Turkish Endodontic Society.

Dedicated to continuous professional development, Dr Ergin has participated in numerous courses and training programmes, including Porcelain Laminate Applications and Medical Aesthetic Procedures such as Botox and Mesotherapy. His main areas of interest include the retreatment of failed root canal treatments, aesthetic anterior composite applications, endodontic approaches for traumatised teeth, and teeth whitening procedures.
